EventIDThere are many products on the market, each with different methods in the how they are approaching the event log management. There are complex, expensive tools that claim to get you everything about a server, from detailed performance counters graphics to information about more or less anything that is measurable for that server. While this kind of tools are no doubt great in the hands of someone that has lots of time to learn what they do, they may not be that great for someone that just wants to get a specific job done. This type of tools also tend to give you \”some\” information about everything but without giving you highly detailed information about a very specific area.
